How We Check Out Our Home Audio Visual Items

We spend a lot of time trying to bring you the best quality goods possible for the best prices! Here at ZeereeZ, we love music! We are music makers & audiophiles, so we take our sound seriously. With each item, our AV guy checks it over with a multi-point inspection beginning with the following:

For speakers

Pushed or damaged in cones or dust covers

Listen for tone & distortion

Check for holes or rips in grill/grate material

Examine case condition

Check ohm & RMS rating

Test for input functionality

Listen for sound output functionality & quality at high and low volumes

For Turntables

Check for the ability to hold pitch

Examine condition of dust cover

Examine condition of output & ground cables

Inspect the condition of the belt and/or motor

Look at stylus and cartridge condition

Test auto or semi auto functionality

Listen to sound output functionality

Amplifiers, preamps, or receivers

Listen for cleanliness of tone

View LED or screen functionality

Listen for scratchiness in knobs or faders

Test power functionality

Check button/ function switching capability & functionality

Inspect battery charge condition (when applicable)

Note any cosmetic wear

Check wattage & specs

Test sound output functionality at high & low volumes

CD, DVD, Video, Cassette, MD, VHS, Etc. Recorders

Test the ability to record, playback, fast forward, rewind,  etc. 

Ensure there is eject/open/close functionality

Check for audio and/or video output

Note the condition of display or screen

Note the overall cosmetic condition

Headphones

Check for sound output on both sides

Inspect the condition of audio cord

Note the overall cleanliness 

Mention any accessories included

All Other Items

All other items are fully tested for functionality. If it is not possible for us to do so, we will clearly make note that it was not tested in the listing or sold for parts.
