The Bostitch BTFP71917 is a Smart Point 16-gauge pneumatic straight finish nailer that drives 16 GA finish nails from 1-1/4"" to 2-1/2"" in length for crown molding, baseboards, cabinets, chair rails, hardwood flooring, and decorative trim. Smart Point technology uses a specially designed smaller nose—80% smaller than standard Bostitch nailers—that provides easier nail placement in tight spaces and eliminates the need to compress the contact trip to actuate the tool. Oil-free operation prevents staining on work surfaces, and the tool features Dial-A-Depth control for precise countersinking, a tool-free jam release mechanism, a selectable trigger for sequential or contact firing, rear air exhaust, and a belt hook with integrated pencil sharpener.
