Description
The basic function of the IP Camera (IPCAM) is transmitting remote video on the IP network. The high-quality video images can be transmitted with 30fps speed on the LAN/WAN by using MJPEG hardware compression technology. Controlling the IPCAM and managing images is simplified by using the provided Web interface across the network utilizing either wired or wireless connectivity.
This night-vision camera features 11 IR LEDs offering illumination at a distance of up to (26.2' / 8m). With flexible 300° pan and 115° tilt, the FI8916W Camera gives users more comprehensive control over a monitored site. It supports IR-cut; when light conditions turn poor, the IR-cut filter will be automatically removed to accept IR illumination. Meanwhile, the camera switches itself automatically from color to black and white mode, assuring optimal image quality at all times.
The IPCAM is based on the TCP/IP standard. There is a Web server inside that supports Internet Explorer. Therefore, the management and maintenance of your device is simplified by using the network to achieve remote configuration & start-up and to upgrade the firmware. In addition, it is smartphone compatible (iPhone, Android-operating devices, & Blackberry) as well as viewable over the Internet using standard browsers. The camera functions well as an iPhone baby monitor or as part of a home or office security system with remote Internet monitoring ability.
