This new generation Kobalt hammer driver uses the most innovative electronics and motor technology in the industry to deliver up to 850 in-lb of torque and the performance to tackle any job. The new compact size allows the user to fit the tool into tighter spaces. The compact size offers a lightweight tool which maximizes productivity and reduces user fatigue on long workdays. The newly designed grip with soft overmold provides superior comfort along with improved balance makes this tool the go-to for every job. The Kobalt hammer drill is equipped with a 2-speed mechanical gear box; Speed 1 provides 550 RPM while speed 2 provides 2000 RPM. Hammer mode delivers up to 32,000 blows per minute (BPM). Easily select between hammer, drill, and screwdriver mode using independent selector ring. A second selector ring provides 24 clutch settings. The metal gear case and nylon plastic handle maximizes durability. A bright LED is located on the foot of the tool to provide lighting on the workpiece. The Kobalt hammer drill includes a premium Jacobs brand metal 1/2-in ratcheting chuck for increased durability. A 2-position bit holder and metal belt clip are included with mounting positions on both sides of the tool. A metal auxiliary handle with comfortable grip is included for increased safety in bit binding conditions. The included soft bag is provided for added convenience of storing and transporting.
