The CM Little Mule 5000 lb (2-1/2 ton) Wire Grip is a spring-loaded, parallel-jaw wire grip built for utility linemen working with stranded copper and ACSR cables. It features a rated capacity of 2-1/2 tons (5,000 lbs), accepts wire sizes from 6 AWG to 4/0 AWG (.18"" to .60""), and opens easily for quick wire insertion and release without lock-up. The large handle eye opening accepts standard hooks and attaches to tackle blocks, while the forged steel construction provides durability with a lightweight profile. All models are rated for a variety of wire sizes, reducing the number of grip changes needed on the job.
