The Matco Tools 81-Piece Auto Master Tap & Die Set (81MATDS) is a comprehensive, lifetime warranty set designed uniquely for technicians and includes automotive-specific sizes not found in traditional 75-piece sets. The set features the patented Rapid Select Ratchet to quickly change between forward and reverse while using taps/dies without working a switch or flipping the ratchet over. The tools are machined from hardened Japanese steel alloy chosen specifically for its ability to withstand abuse without fracturing. The set includes adjustable tap holders and a die holder that features a 3/4” (19mm) hex shape to be driven by the included ratcheting tap wrench or standard sockets and wrenches. Sizes are roll stamped for legibility and durability.
